Bella Candela was founded on July 17, 2006 when Candela Grill and Bella Pizza were amalgamated to create an Italian/South American fusion restaurant providing the North Shore with the romantic Latino flair for warm ambiance and great food. Enjoy your visit and make this your destination for wonderful memories.

Bella Candela is also a great space for both corporate and private functions offering full service catering, a wireless microphone system, electronic media presentation capabilities, and event planning and facilitation services. The clear sight lines and exceptional acoustics blended with the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and menu are sure to add that WOW factor to your special event.

Bella Candela has generously donated the space in the restaurant for the operation of an art gallery featuring local artists, La Galeria Candela  will be presenting openings and wine tastings on a regular basis.

Started with Bella Pizza on January 15, 1986.

Opened Bella Pizza in North Vancouver January 1993.
Opened Candela Grill on Dec 9, 2005.
Amalgamated Bella Pizza and Candela Grill on July 17, 2006 to create Bella Candela.

Is currently studying to become an ICF certified executive coach and a Shotokan Karate instructor.

Married to Magda Figueredo with two children, Matteo and Sophia.
